Joshua M. Steinfeld

Joshua M. SteinfeldDr. Joshua M. Steinfeld is an Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University’s School of Public Service in Norfolk, Virginia. He is also the program director for the Public Procurement & Contract Management graduate certificate. His research is focused on the strategic orientation of public procurement and he is a leading scholar in areas geared toward professionalization of the field, involving professionalism and social responsibility. Dr. Steinfeld is also a trailblazer in the discourse surrounding procurement of radio frequency information technology. Prior to joining Old Dominion’s Strome College of Business, Dr. Steinfeld was a Visiting Instructor at University of Central Florida and an Instructor at Florida Atlantic University, where he earned his Ph.D. He also completed an M.S. in Finance at Johns Hopkins University, an M.P.S. in Organizational Leadership at University of Denver, and a B.S. in Business Administration at Boston University. Dr. Steinfeld’s favorite part of the job is teaching courses and mentoring students in their professional development.
