Kurt April

Prof. Kurt April is a Sainsbury Fellow and Professor of Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion at the Graduate School of Business (University of Cape Town, South Africa), an Associate Fellow of Said Business School (University of Oxford, UK), Research Fellow of Ashridge (UK), Faculty Member of Duke Corporate Education (Duke University, USA) and Visiting Professor at Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University, Netherlands). Outside of academia, Prof. April is Managing Partner of LICM Consulting (South Africa), Owner-Director of Helderview BMW (South Africa), Non-Executive Director of the Power Group (South Africa), Non-Executive Director of Achievement Awards Group (South Africa), Chairman of the International D&I Advisory Council to Novartis International (Switzerland), and Member of the Special Agenda Council on Talent & Diversity of the World Economic Forum (Switzerland). Kurt holds a PhD, Cert(JP), MBA, MSc(ElecEng), HDE, BSc(ElecEng), Dip(EE), Dip(LS) completed at the University of Cape Town (South Africa), University of Oxford (UK) and Wingfield College (South Africa). He has published over 100 academic articles, and written seven books.
