Laleh Kardar

Laleh Kardar is a PhD student of Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston (UH), USA. She received two B.Sc. degrees in biomedical and industrial engineering and a M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2005, 2007, and 2008, respectively. From Feb. 2007 till Jul. 2010, Kardar was working as a researcher of Logistics and Supply Chain Management research group, Institute of Trade Studies and Research (ITSR) at Iran ministry of commerce. She has co-authored and edited three books in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management under Springer-Verlag, Elsevier, and IGI Global. Her current research interests concern the design of algorithms for optimization problems in health care industry. She is serving as a secretary of INFORMS student chapter at UH.
