Loredana-Mihaela Stanciu

Loredana-Mihaela Stanciu received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Politehnica University Timisoara, Romania, in 2008. In 2001, she was hired as teaching assistant at the Automation and Applied Informatics Department, Automation and Computer Science Faculty of Politehnica University Timisoara and is currently an associate professor. She has been interested in areas such as human hand prosthesis, artificial intelligence, neural networks, embedded system, and affective computing. She studied psychology, graduating in 2015 Systemic Family Therapy at The Areopagus Center for Christian Studies and Contemporary Culture, Timisoara. She wrote two books, 30 scientific articles, was the director or member of seven scientific projects, and teaches courses such as Object Oriented Programming, Concurrent Programming, Visual Programming and Computer Architecture.
