M. Kumaran

M. Kumaran received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering and M.E. degree in Product Design and Development from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2008 and 2011, respectively. After completing his post-graduation, he worked as an Assistant Professor at various engineering colleges from 2011 to 2017. He registered for a Ph.D. in the Department of Production Engineering at NIT Tiruchirappalli and completed it in October 2022. Following his full-time Ph.D., he served as an Assistant Professor at several deemed universities. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (Deemed to be University) - Tiruchirappalli Campus, Tamil Nadu, India. He has published five SCI-indexed research articles, six conference proceedings, and six book chapters in various reputed international journals. His research interests include Additive Manufacturing, Material Joining, and Product Design and Development.
