Manika Lamba

Dr. Manika Lamba earned her Ph.D. in Library & Information Science from the University of Delhi, India. She is currently serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Library and Information Services (IJLIS). She is an active member of the IFLA and ASIS&T associations. As the Chair of the Professional Development Sub-Committee and Elected Standing Committee Member at the IFLA Science and Technology Libraries Section, she actively organizes workshops to equip information professionals with new computational and digital skills. She is co-founder and co-organizer of "International Cafe Meets" sponsored by SIG-III, ASIS&T. In addition to publishing scholarly articles, she has authored a book on "Text Mining for Information Professionals" and edited a book on "Technological Advancements in Library Service Innovation". She has been awarded grants from esteemed institutions such as Princeton University, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T), and the Summer Institutes in Computational Social Science (SICSS). Her research focuses on information retrieval, digital libraries, social informatics, and scholarly communication using text mining, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques.
