Marco Vernier

Marco VernierMarco Vernier is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computer science, Mathematics and Physics at the University of Udine (Italy). In 2012 he received the master degree cum laude in Multimedia Communication from the University of Udine and the Dipl. Ingenieur in Information Technologies from the Alpen-Adria University of Klagenfurt (AT). In 2016 he received the Ph.D. in Multimedia Communication from the University of Udine. His current research interests are focused on the study and the development of smart system for analysis and interpretation of multimedia data generated by users on social platforms. He has co-authored different scientific works published in International Journals and Refereed International Conferences. He is a member of AViReS Lab (Artificial Vision and Real-Time Systems), an advanced research unit within the Department of Computer science, Mathematics and Physics of the University of Udine (Italy).
