About Us

Maria Kamariotou

Maria Kamariotou is researcher associate at the Department of Applied Informatics, School of Information Sciences, University of Macedonia, Greece. She graduated from the University of Macedonia with a degree in Applied Informatics Department. She then continued to Master Programme with a specialization in E-Business and Innovation Technology. Her Thesis entitled “Strategic Information Systems Planning in Greek SMEs” describes and analyzes a methodological approach regarding on the implementation of Strategic Information Systems Planning and its impact on firm performance. It focuses on Greek SMEs. She participated in the evaluation of the Researcer's Night event, organized by the hellenic center for research and technology. Also, she is member of the British Academy of Management and of the Hellenic Operational Research Society. Her scientific research interests mainly focus on strategic management and information systems.
