Marios D. Sotiriadis

Marios D. Sotiriadis is Visiting Professor at Department of Transport Economics, Logistics and Tourism, College of Economic and Management Sciences, University of South Africa, and at University of Ningbo, China. Formerly he was Professor, Department of Tourism Business Management, TEI of Crete, Greece, and Tutor at the Hellenic Open University, Greece. He obtained his MSc in Tourism Business Management and received his PhD in Tourism Management from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, Nice, France. He is the author of six books, three distance learning manuals and three e-learning materials on tourism and hospitality management and marketing. He has undertaken a variety of consultancy and research projects for both public organizations and private businesses of the tourism and travel industry. His research and writing interests include tourism destination and business management and marketing. He has published in international journals and presented papers at international scientific conferences.
