Mikhail Yurievich Kataev

Mikhail Kataev received his master's degree in 1984 from Tomsk State University. Joined the Institute of Atmospheric Optics of the Siberian Academy of Sciences. In 1993 he defended his Ph.D. thesis. In 1995 he went to work at the Tomsk University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics at the Faculty of Control Systems. In 2002 he defended his doctoral dissertation. In 2006 he became a professor. Scientific directions are associated with solving mathematical problems of data processing and analysis. He is a specialist in the development of software of various classes related to data processing and analysis, business processes. Conducts educational and scientific work. Under his leadership, 5 candidates of sciences, dozens of undergraduates and bachelors have been defended. He personally and in co-authorship has written about 300 articles, several monographs, textbooks. He is an academician of the International Academy of Informatization, an expert of the Ministry of Education and Science, an academician of the International Academy of Higher Education.
