Mohammad Ali Ehsani

Mohammad Ehsan is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has attained academic degrees from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh; University of Bergen, Norway; and Carleton University, Canada. He is scheduled to defend his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Political Science, Dalhousie University soon. He also taught at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh as well as at Dalhousie University, Canada. He has the experience of working with the NGO sector and donor community in various capacities. He published three books, encyclopaedia entries, and several articles in refereed international journals. His current research interests include public sector management, public sector ethics and anti-corruption, policy and program evaluation, e-governance, and higher education. His primary research focus is on South and Southeast Asia. He has memberships in several academic associations and is the recipient of, among others, NORAD Fellowship and IDRC Doctoral Research Award.
