Neusa Branco

Neusa Branco has a degree in Teaching of Mathematics, from the Faculdade de Ciências of the Universidade de Lisboa, a master's degree in Education, in the specialization in Didactics of Mathematics, from the Faculdade de Ciências of the Universidade de Lisboa and a PhD in Education, specialization in Didactics of Mathematics by the Instituto de Educação of the Universidade de Lisboa. She is a Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Santarém-Escola Superior de Educação de Santarém, where she is coordinator of the Master in Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education and Mathematics and Science of 2nd Cycle of Basic Education and is sub-coordinator of the Master in Pre-school Education and Teaching of the 1st cycle of basic education. She was President of the Technical-Scientific Council, from 2018 to 2022. She participats in research projects in the area of Education and in international cooperation projects. The main research interests are: Teaching and learning of Algebra; Didactics of Mathematics; Initial teacher training; Mathematical connections; Interdisciplinarity between science and mathematics; Curricular integration of ICT and computacional thinking.(0346faf5-f0a2-4e3c-805c-82aece89f517)
