Ozgul Kartal is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her major area of research is the enhancement of teaching and learning in order to make mathematics accessible to a broader range of students by means of problem-solving and mathematical modeling, and implementation of effective mathematics teaching practices.
