Patricia McGee

Patricia McGee is a faculty member in the Instructional Technology program in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Two successive summers as American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) US Navy Research Faculty with the Joint ADL Co-Lab in Orlando, Florida provided a foundation for her work as a 2003 NLII Fellow researching and writing about learning objects and next generation course management systems. As director of a PT3 and Microsoft/AACTE Innovative Teaching grant, she contributes to campus-wide technology initiatives. She develops, teaches, and studies online courses. Currently she is leading an open source ePortfolio project, as well as conducting research about pedagogy within course management system and institutional learning object development and policy-making. Patricia earned a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Instructional Technology from the University of Texas at Austin.
