Pete Swanson

Pete SwansonPete Swanson, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Foreign Language Education in the Department of World Languages & Cultures at Georgia State University and President of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. His research focuses on the language teacher identity, characteristics of highly effective language teachers, and the integration of technology into language teaching. Dr. Swanson is a renown expert in the field and his work has been published widely in esteemed journals. He is the co-author of a recent book about the World Language edTPA.
