Peter Gordon

Peter Gordon , MS, LPC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor and doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at The George Washington University. With extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings, Peter provides trauma-informed individual and group therapy, psychological assessments, and crisis intervention for diverse populations. He has served in clinical roles at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, The GW Center Clinic, and UDC’s Counseling and Wellness Center, and is the founder of Kooyah Wellness LLC, where he offers wellness consulting and DEI-focused training. Peter holds dual master’s degrees in psychology and mental health counseling and brings a culturally responsive, holistic approach to supporting mental health and identity development.
