Rafael Vargas-Bernal

Rafael Vargas-Bernal was born in Irapuato, Guanajuato, México in September 30th, 1972. He received the B. E. degree in Electronics in October 6th, 1995 from the University of Guanajuato. After, the M. S. degree in Electronics from INAOE in September 4th, 1997. Lastly, the Sc. D. degree in Electronics from the same institute in July 19th, 2000. During October 2000 - September 2001, he worked as professor of the University of Guanajuato in the Department of Communications and Electronics Engineering. Since January 2002 to December 2009, he has been with the Department of Electronics Engineering of ITESI as Professor-Researcher. From August 2005 until today, he is also working in the Department of Materials Science in the area of Advanced Materials. He is technical reviewer of standards on microtechnology and MEMS in SEMI from November 2006 to the date. Moreover, he is reviewer of the magazine IEEE Latin America Transactions of IEEE from August 2003, Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical of Elsevier from February 2010, IEEE Sensors Journal from October 2012, Nanoscale of RSC November 2012, and RSC Advances published by RSC from April 2013 until today.
