Robyn Gandell

Robyn Gandell is an academic advisor at Unitec Institute of Technology and a doctoral candidate at the University of Auckland. In her tertiary education Robyn has been awarded a BSc with the Senior Prize in Pure Mathematics, a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, and a Post-Graduate Diploma, with Distinction, in Mathematics Education and a Diploma in Physiotherapy. Robyn has taught dance, mathematics, and physics, in both secondary and tertiary education, is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and has teaching awards for Lecturer of the Year and Learning and Teaching Innovation from Unitec Institute of Technology. Robyn’s current doctoral research explores mathematical problem solving and embodied mathematical thinking.
