Spyridon V. Gogouvitis

Spyridon V. Gogouvitis was born in Athens, Greece in 1982. He received the Dipl. -Ing. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2006. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. while working as a Researcher in the Telecommunication Laboratory of the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). In the past he has been actively involved in several EU and National funded projects such as the Interactive Realtime Multimedia Applications on Service Oriented Infrastructures (IRMOS) project. He has also worked as a developer for the Hellenic Army Information Systems Support Centre and as a consultant for the General Secretariat for Information Systems of the Hellenic Ministry of Economy and Finance. Currently he is NTUA’s team leader in the VISION Cloud EU Project. His research interests include Grid and Cloud Computing, Workflow Management, as well as Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing.
