Stanislaw Wrycza

Stanislaw Wrycza (PhD) has been the Head of the Department of Business Informatics at the University of Gdansk (Poland) since 1991. Dr. Wrycza is an established participant and leader in many other Information Systems professional organizations; he is the Vice President and founding member of the Information Systems Academic Heads International (ISAHI), the President of the Polish Chapter of Association for Information Systems, initiator and first President of Polish Research Society for Business Informatics. He teaches on a variety of subjects at the University of Gdansk, including information systems design, databases, e-business, and customer relationship management. He has authored more than 150 publications in Polish and English. Dr. Wrycza’s research interests include business informatics, e-learning, the digital economy, systems analysis and design, UML, and electronic data exchange. He is also the member of editorial boards of highly-ranked international professional journals.
