Tahsin Turgay

Tahsin TurgayDr. Tahsin Turgay was born in 1974, in Bolu, Turkey. He had his both MSc and PhD degrees in the field of Structure Engineering from Department of Structure Engineering of Yildiz Technical University, where he had also worked as research and teaching assistant. He worked as a assistant professor respectively in Abant Izzet Baysal Üniversitesi and Middle East Technical University. He moved to Sakarya University as a Associate Professor at Department of Architecture in 2014. He is founder head of Architecture Deparment in Sakarya University. He is specialized in behaviour of structures in fuzzy logic, seismic regions, conservation of historical buildings, rehabilitation of structures, confined concrete, seismic rehabilitation, reinforced concrete infill walls.
