Varun G. Menon

Varun G. Menon is currently an Associate Professor and Head of International Relations at SCMS School of Engineering and Technology, India. He has been promoting quality research publishing in India, with numerous workshops and seminars for students and faculty of various engineering colleges.

Dr. Varun G. Menon is currently serving on the review boards for 32 high impact factor journals, including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Ad Hoc Networks Journal (Elsevier), Computer Communications Journal (Elsevier), Vehicular Communications (Elsevier), International Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks (Sage), the International Journal of Communication Systems (Wiley), Ad Hoc & Sensor Wireless Networks Journal (Old City Publishing), etc. He is also currently serving on the editorial review boards of five journals, including the Journal of Organizational and End User Computing, the International Journal of E-Health and Medical Communications, the International Journal of Disaster Response and Emergency Management, etc. He is the editor for a book on wireless communication published by CRC Press Taylor and Francis.

Dr. Varun G. Menon has published 27 research papers in high impact and peer-reviewed international journals and conferences. He has served on the technical program committee and organizing committee of many prestigious international conferences organized in various countries, such as Thailand, USA, Hong Kong, Vietnam etc.

Dr. Varun G. Menon completed his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his M. Tech degree in Computer and Communication with University First Rank. He also has a master’s degree in Applied Psychology, an MBA in Human Resource Management, and a Diploma in Training and Development (Dip. T. D.). He is also a life skills trainer and has completed more than 200 training sessions for faculty and students in various professional colleges in India. His research interests include mobile ad hoc networks, wireless communication, opportunistic routing, underwater acoustic sensor networks, educational psychology, training and development, internet of things, fog computing and networking.
