Xuewen Xia

Xuewen Xia received the Ph.D. degree in computer software and theory from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China in 2009. His current research interests include the areas of computational intelligence techniques and their applications.

In 2009, he was a lecturer with the Hubei Engineering University, Xiaogan, China. In 2012, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. In 2014, he was an associate professor with the School of Software, East China Jiaotong University, Nanchang, China. He is currently a professor with the College of Physics and Information Engineering, Minnan Normal University, Zhangzhou, China. He is also a Director of the Intelligent Optimization and Information Processing Lab of Minnan Normal University.

Dr. Xia is also a member of IEEE. He is an associate editor of International Journal of Cognitive Informatics and Natural Intelligence.
