Yi Huang

Yi Huang has served as an executive officer, educator, and administrator with rich experiences and targeted practices in building internal capacities and external networks through collaborative partnerships and innovative program engineering. Dr. Huang’s research and development portfolio consists of initiatives funded by private, state, and federal agencies, including two large-scale Teacher Quality Partnership Grants awarded by the United States Department of Education. As a distinguished researcher, she is the recipient of the Dr. Jeannette W. Shamwell Award for Distinguished Service to the School of Education granted by Coppin State University, and the Elkins Professorship for Academic Transformation awarded by the University System of Maryland. Dr. Huang is the editor and contributing author of the 2021 volume entitled Credential Innovations for Inclusive Pathways to Professions.
