Zindan Çakıcı graduated from Kadir Has University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Publicity in 2018 as the top student of the faculty. Having completed his master's degree at Galatasaray University, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Department of Strategic Communication Management in 2020, Çakıcı was awarded the title of Doctor in 2024 at Galatasaray University, Graduate School of Social Sciences, Department of Media and Communication Studies with his doctoral thesis titled “Visual Representation of Irregular Migration in the Turkish Press: Afghan Migration After Taliban Rule”.
