| Mageswaran Sanmugam is an esteemed educator in the field of educational technology. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn (2005), a Master’s degree in Educational Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (2012), and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2017). With a diverse teaching background, Mageswaran has taught at both primary and secondary levels (2008-2018). Since 2018, he has been a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, where his research and teaching focus on human-computer interaction and multimedia project management.
In addition to his teaching role, Mageswaran served as the Deputy Director of Research, Innovation, and Networking from 2022 to 2024. Beginning in 2025, he transitioned into the role of Deputy Director of Academic, Career, and International.
