Abstract

In order to provide readers with the location information of books quickly and accurately, simplify the book borrowing process and improve the borrowing efficiency, RFID technology is introduced into the library. In this paper, based on the overall architecture of RFID library intelligent bookshelf system, through the indoor positioning algorithm, from the actual needs of the intelligent bookshelf system for book positioning, the RFID indoor positioning algorithm is selected. The simulation and performance analysis of the experimental data show that the average positioning error is the smallest when the number of nearest neighbor tags is 8, and the average positioning error of 100 times is 0.0239m.Conclusion: this method has a very high application value and provides a useful reference solution for the development of current book positioning system and intelligent shelf system.

1. Introduction

RFID (radio frequency identification) is a kind of non-contact automatic identification technology realized by wireless communication technology. It is widely considered to be the most promising IT technology which will have great influence in the 21st century. The new application scope of RFID technology is still expanding, and the technological changes it causes will affect everyone's life. RFID technology will also become a new opportunity for the development of China's communication and information industry (Guofang, et al, 2018). As we all know, the library is an important place for people to acquire new knowledge. The number of library collections and the types of books in the library also refresh the historical records. With the increasingly mature RFID technology and the continuous expansion of the application scope, the researchers in the library field gradually realize that this intelligent technology can greatly improve the service quality and work efficiency. The huge potential benefits are also attracting researchers, equipment suppliers and researchers in the library industry to carry out relevant scientific research and physical practice. An industrial chain is forming (Feng Zhao. 2018).

In digital development platform, the process of library automation, plays a significant role in automatic identification which includes technology for the identification of bar codes, and technique for the recognition of optical characters, and many others (Babu, 2013, Sharma, et al, 2017). Considering all of such technologies the identification of bar code is the most mature application of digital development platform. The technology of bar code is relatively simple to implement them using library and also convenient. The computer machine together with bar code technique enables the leaders to switch from manual operation in order to achieve automatize operation through accessing libraries (Anuradha, 2009, Sharma et al 2019). Although with the increment in technology of library automation, it is foremost requirement to constantly improve the technology of barcode. There exists some aspects that reflects the limitation of bar code technology such as approaches where libraries shun frame and finds difficult for the inventory collection because the reading of audio-visual is very complex and presents poor results with low degree automation. Additionally, library management enables readers to constantly update and regularly presents demands such that a reader can enjoy the service more conveniently (Iglesias, E. 2013, Sharma, et al, 2019). The activities require libraries to increase the function of library automation through standards in order to achieve inventory automation such that the books can be circulated through self-service at regional location along with the operation of automatic storing as well. Recently, the identification of radio frequency the function of library can widely accepted and implemented and presents various advantages of automatic identification. The application based on digital development platform can also be termed as a modem library that brings the revolution among the industry of epoch-making in order to obtain the library automation of higher level (Tyagi, et al, 2015, Sharma, et al 2016).
