Abstract

Shopping platform increases service speed and reduces transaction cost. However, it also leads to issues of information asymmetry. Some sellers fabricate the price of promotional goods prior to promotion, not only affecting the reputation of sellers, but also viciously influencing the goodwill of the shopping websites. On this basis, a shopping decentralized Application (DApp) based on blockchain technology was designed; this research integrates the blockchain and shopping App. The App used the decentralized technology of distributed blockchain tamper resistance and its advantages of distributed ledger, decentralization, traceability, smart contract, and information tamper-proof to reduce the adverse impact of information asymmetry on consumers.

Research on Blockchain

Sunny et al (2020) believed that blockchain is a decentralized and distributed database, which can safely record information. Companies have begun to incorporate blockchain into their supply chain activities to improve transparency by tracing events. Agrawal et al (2021) put forward a multilayer traceability framework of textile and garment supply chain based on blockchain, which conceptualized the interaction of supply chain partners, the related network architecture at the organizational level, and the smart contract and transaction verification rules at the operational level. Zhou (2017) introduced the basic functions of blockchain consensus mechanism through its evolution. Li et al (2021) suggested that blockchain technology benefits from the technical advantages of distributed consensus and decentralized trust of blockchain. Jin et al Proposed to comprehensively apply blockchain technology, Internet of things technology and RFID technology to supply chain management to form a blockchain supply chain architecture including intelligent terminal layer, blockchain layer and application layer, so as to realize the effective management of production, logistics and sales among enterprises.

Research on DApp

As a disruptive technology, the birth of blockchain was mainly used to support the application of virtual payment scenario (bitcoin), but the technical scenario is too single and lacks effective expansion. Buterin et al (2018) established an Ethereum platform based on blockchain technology, which can effectively carry distributed applications (DApp). Pavlenko et al (2017) proposed the Super Ledger alliance and released the Fabric project scheme, providing developers with the first blockchain platform available for commercial application development. Wu (2019) analyzed the current predicament of DApp and pointed out evident difficulties in the development, distribution, use, and circulation of DApp.

Summary: The current domestic development and research mainly focus on “finance” and “intellectual property” due to the technical difficulty and application marketability of DApp. Although the platform technology of blockchain has developed rapidly with the endowment of national policy and capital orientation, the research on DApp still faces some difficulties.
