Abstract

Nowadays in Ukraine there is a high increase rate of technological efficiency in agricultural production. However, there are a number of problems related to the distortion of the efficiency indicators for individual branches of agriculture as well as for groups of agricultural enterprises. The purpose of this paper is to determine specific aspects for the formation of certain parameters of production technological efficiency in agricultural enterprises of Ukraine. The relation of technological efficiency with other types of agricultural production efficiency has been investigated. The technological efficiency computation methods required for achieving the desired profitability rates at agricultural enterprises and their practical importance have been presented. Reliance of production technological efficiency and agricultural enterprises' innovation activity has been investigated. The necessity to improve the system of introduction the innovations into agricultural production has been grounded.

Literature Review On Production Technological Efficiency In Agricultural Enterprises

Theoretical aspects of efficient production of agricultural enterprises have been studied in the works of Andriichuk (2005), Diiesperov (2008), Onysko (2003). Hereby, the authors consider the essence of efficiency, distinguish particular types of agricultural production efficiency and provide a system of indicators that can be used in the analysis of agricultural enterprises’ efficiency.

Tendencies and peculiarities for the formation of agricultural enterprises’ production efficiency in different countries have become the subject of investigation for many researchers. The methodological aspects for the analysis of these processes have been represented in the papers of Balezentis (2014), Cai & Yan (2019), Djokoto (2015), Hart, Miljkovi & Shaik (2015), Helfand & Levine (2004), Hoang & Alauddin (2012), Kostlivý, Fuksová & Dubec (2017), Madau, Furesi & Pulina (2017), and others. The authors consider the basic conditions and particular characteristics of agricultural production that should be taken into account when analyzing agricultural enterprises’ efficiency.
