Editor/Author Biographies
Thomas J. Bergin is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the American University. He previously received practical experience while serving as a systems analyst with the Veterans Administration. In addition to his research interest in computer-aided software engineering, Dr. Bergin is widely recognized for his in-depth research into the history of computing as well as the ethical and social impacts of computer use.
