Editor/Author Biographies
Mihai Viorel Putz (MVP) chairs the quantum chemistry, structure and properties of molecules, bio-nano-materials, computational chemistry and QSAR main disciplines, along the Directorate of Chemistry Doctoral School, at West University of Timişoara (WUT) as Full Professor Dr. Dr.-Habil. & PI-1 in Chemistry (among the first Habilitated in Romania post-EU adhesion 2007). With his group and collaborators MVP developed 5 synergic directions within the so called chemical orthogonal space: i) functional electronegativity-chemical hardness orthogonal space of chemical periodicity and reactivity; ii) Markovian density orthogonal space of localization electronic function; iii) Bondonic-electronic orthogonal space of chemical bonding; iv) Logistic-Lambert orthogonal space of enzyme kinetics; and v) SPECTRAL-(Q)SAR space of specific ligand-receptor interaction. MVP is an international consecrated scholar, author and editor in multidisciplinary chemistry, with continuously conceptual contributions, with special interest in quantum nature of chemical bonding and its post-modern description, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) applications and nano-functionalization, e.g. chemical Bose condensate, quantum quasi-particles as bondons and bondots for pairing quantum dots, graphentronics, nano-topo-quantum chemistry, etc., and/or by the combined above synergetic research, development and innovative directions.

Book Processing Charges (BPCs) and Chapter Processing Charges (CPCs): Payment of the BPC or CPC fee (directly to the publisher) by the author or a funding body is not required until AFTER the manuscript has gone through the full double-blind peer review process and the Editor(s)-in-Chief at his/her/their full discretion has/have decided to accept the manuscript based on the results of the double-blind peer review process.

What Does IGI Global's Open Access BPC and CPC Cover? In the traditional subscription-based model, the cost to the publisher to produce each manuscript is covered by the revenue generated by book sales.
