Alicia Triviño-Cabrera is a Telecommunication Engineer (2002) and a Computer Science Engineer (2008) by the University of Málaga (Spain). Her Thesis, which was defended in 2007, focused on wireless technologies. She has authored 50+ papers in international conferences, prestigious journals and books concerning wireless networks, wireless power transfer and electric vehicles. Part of her research work has been conducted in prestigious centers such as Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in South Korea (2004), Laboratory of Communications at the University of Coimbra (2007), Orange Labs R&D in France (2009) and Aston University in the United Kingdom (2017). In 2010, she started teaching at the University of Malaga (Spain) where she is currently an Associate Professor.
José Antonio Aguado received his Industrial Engineering (major power systems) degree and PhD from the University of Malaga in 1997 and 2001, respectively. He is Professor and Department Head at the Electrical Engineering Department, University of Málaga in Spain. He has led 38 publicly-funded research and consultancy projects in the area of operation and planning of smartgrids, renewable energies and wireless power transfer. He has authored 70+ papers in journals, book chapters, and conferences. He actively participates in scientific associations such as IEEE where he is Vice-President of the IEEE Power and Energy Spanish Section.
