Editor/Author Biographies
Joseph Mukuni is an Associate Professor of Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Virginia Tech’s School of Education. He obtained his PhD in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and a Graduate Certificate in International Research and Development at Virginia Tech in 2012. His long career in education includes working as a trainer, a teacher educator, and an administrator of skills development programs. His research interests include portability of technical skills across occupations; trends in the world of work; labor market skill gaps; international best practices in workforce development; demand responsiveness of workforce development programs; technical education and vocational training policy formulation; and Investigating Ubuntu, an African conceptual framework.
