Editor/Author Biographies
Andrei Jean Vasile is full professor at Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Department of Business Administration and Ph.D mentor in economics at Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. He is co-founder and scientific coordinator of the Research Network on Resources Economics and Bioeconomy. Andrei Jean-Vasile holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National Institute of Economics Research – Romanian Academy of Sciences. He has earned a BA degree in Administrative Sciences (2005) and in Banks and Finances (2007) from the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti. He has an MA degree in Economics, Administrative and Business Management (2007) earned at the same university. Jean Andrei is also Associate Editor of Economics of Agriculture (Serbia), scientific reviewer and committee member for numerous international conferences. He is member of scientific organizations: The Balkan Scientific Association of Agrarian Economists, Serbia (2008), DAAAM Vienna and Information Resources Management Association (2011). Issues like: agricultural economics and rural development, energy and resource economics and business economics are among his research and scientific interests.

Jonel Subic, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, and Principal Research Fellow had defended doctoral thesis under the title Determination of economic effectiveness of investments in agriculture (South Banat – FR Yugoslavia) in November 2003 at the Faculty of Management, Bucharest Academy of Economic Sciences, Romania. Since November 2004, he has been full-time employed in the Institute of Agricultural Economics Belgrade, Serbia within the sector for scientific-research work. Since January 2015 he worked as director of IAE. He is mainly oriented to agro-economy and economy, with special accent to the economic effectiveness of investments, strategic planning of local communities. He is author/co-author at over 200 bibliographic units with national and international importance. He is also a member of following professional associations: Balkan Environment Association (B.EN.A.); European Association of Agrarian Economists (E.A.A.E.); Serbian Association of Agrarian Economists (SAAE); Balkan Scientific Association of Agrarian Economists (BSAAE). Among editorial activities next can be pointed out: corresponding editor of the Journals International Journal of Sustainable Economies Management and Scientific Papers Series - Management, Economic Engineering in Agriculture and Rural Development; member of the scientific board of the Journal BULLETIN - Economic Sciences Series; member of supervisory committee of the Journals Economy - Management Series and Transition; associate editor of the Journal Economics of Agriculture; member of editorial board of the Journal Ekonomika.

Aleksander Grubor is Full Professor at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics in Subotica. He holds PhD in economics at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics in Subotica. Aleksandar Grubor is a dean of Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Editor in Chief of Strategic Management journal. He is a member of Serbian Scientific Society of Economics and Serbian Association of Marketing. His scientific research area are mainly marketing, global marketing, services marketing and sales management, in field where he published numerous books, scientific papers, proceedings, and working papers.

Donatella Privitera is an economic geography full professor at University of Catania, Italy, with a M.S. Degree in Agri-Business from the Catholic University of Milan. Prior to becoming a full-time academic, she has had experience working in a multinational company (Kraft General Food, Italy) in marketing. She has taught the economy of landscape and marketing of agricultural products for the Faculty of Agriculture at University Mediterranea, Reggio Calabria. She is currently teaching economic geography with a speciality in tourism and regional development at University of Catania. She is a member of Italian Geographic Society (SGI). She has presented paper at several conferences, published in international books and mainly associated with her research in the following areas: economic geography; sustainable cities and mobility; ICT and Tourism; green economy; regional planning and its implications for tourism.
