Description & Coverage
Description:

In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has drawn significant attention with respect to its applications in several scientific fields, varying from big data handling to medical diagnosis and more. A tremendous transformation has taken place with the merging applications of AI. AI works by combining large amounts of data with fast, iterative processing and intelligent algorithms, allowing the machine to learn automatically from patterns or features in data. This way, AI can provide a wide range of solutions to address many challenging problems in civil engineering.

This book highlights the latest technologies and applications of AI in the domain of civil engineering. It focuses on applications related to structural engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, and more. Covering state-of-the-art research in AI and its applications in the field of civil engineering, this book is an ideal resource for engineers, academicians, researchers, practitioners, and students and educators of higher education seeking current research on solving engineering problems using smart and modern technologies.
