Editor/Author Biographies

Anna Kaushik is working as Deputy Librarian and In-charge, Central Library, University of Kota, (Rajasthan). He holds a PhD degree and has sixteen years of work experience in library administration and management. He has been published several articles in national and international referred LIS journals, conferences, edited LIS books and contributed book chapters in international and national repute LIS books. He has been undergone special training programmes and organized various training programmes, conferences, symposiums in the library and information science domain. His areas of research interest are open sources software and resources, internet resources, marketing of library services, web2.0, application of emerging technologies in the LIS sector. He is a lifetime member of Indian Library Association (ILA) and editorial board member of ISST Journal of Advances in Librarianship (IJALIB), Indian Journal of Information Library and Society (IJILS) and International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology (IJIDT).

Payel Biswas holds degree in Master of Library and Information Science and Associateship in Information Science. She has done her graduation in Commerce with Accountancy (Hons.) and completed different short term courses in library management, digital library, open source software and intellectual property. She is currently working as Librarian at Institute of Urban Transport (India) since 2012. She has 12 years’ work experience in the field of library and information science and journal publication. Her many papers have published in national and international journals, conference proceedings. Her prime interested area such as collection development, open access, digital library and information management.
