Editor/Author Biographies
Süleyman Özdemir was born in 1971. He has graduated from Istanbul University, Labor Economics and Industrial Relations Department in 1992. In the same department, he earned his master’s degree in 1995 and doctorate degree in 2004. During his post-graduate education process, he studied at Cornell University (1997-1999), Syracuse University (2009-2010) as a guest researcher. Currently, he has been the rector of Bandirma 17 Eylul University. Prof. Özdemir has many scientific articles on labor economics, labor ethics, NOS’s and entrepreneurship.
Seyfettin Erdogan works at Istanbul Medeniyet University in Turkey. He is an expert in economics and studies on economy, energy, health and sustainability. He has many books and book chapters in IGI Global Publishing.
Ayfer Gedikli was born in 1970. She has graduated from Bogaziçi University, Department of Electronics in 1991, and Inönü University, Department of Management in 1998. She earned her Master’s in 2003 and her doctorate degree in 2009 on fiscal economics. She worked for TURKSAT (State Satellite Company) as a director for 4 years. In 2009, she turned back to academy. Assoc. Prof. Gedikli worked as Vice Dean and head of Department of Economics at Kirklareli University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences between 2009 and 2012. Currently, she has been working at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Faculty of Political Science, Department of Economics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gedikli has many articles and international books on financial crisis, globalization, poverty and monetary policy.
