Editor/Author Biographies
Rui Pedro Figueiredo Marques received the PhD degree in Computer Science, in 2014, from the universities of Minho, Aveiro and Porto, three of the top universities in the north of Portugal. In 2008 he concluded his Masters degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, at the University of Aveiro, and in 2005 he graduated in the same area, also from the University of Aveiro. His main research interests are on Organizational Information Systems and Information Systems Auditing. He has been lecturing Informatics classes since 2007 at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration, University of Aveiro.
João Batista received a PhD degree in Information and Communication in Digital Platforms, from the University of Aveiro, a Master degree in Science and Information Technology from the University of Coimbra and a first degree in Geographic Engineering from the University of Coimbra. He is a member of the Center for Research in Communication, Information and Digital Culture (CIC.Digital), where he works on the use of communication technologies in higher education and training contexts, and on information and communication overload as well. He has been lecturing Informatics courses at the Institute of Accounting and Administration (University of Aveiro, Portugal), since 1987. He has previous experience in academic management and as a private consultant as well.
