Udit Mamodiya is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean (Research) at Poornima University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. With a robust academic and professional background, he has significantly contributed to the fields of renewable energy sources, reliability analysis, expert systems, and decision support systems. Dr. Mamodiya has authored over 50 research papers indexed in prestigious databases such as SCI, Scopus, and UGC Care, showcasing his commitment to advancing knowledge in his areas of expertise. Additionally, he has authored ten books published by national publishers, further enriching the academic community with valuable resources. An innovator at heart, Dr. Mamodiya holds an impressive portfolio of intellectual property, including 50 utility patents (both national and international) along with 20 design patents and copyrights. His entrepreneurial spirit is exemplified by securing ₹1 Crore in funding from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to establish the IDEA Lab at Poornima University, aimed at fostering innovation and research among students and faculty. With 12 years of experience in both teaching and industry, Dr. Mamodiya brings practical insights into his academic endeavors, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications. As a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) member of the Smart India Hackathon, he plays a vital role in promoting technological innovation among students. Furthermore, he has organized over 10 conferences in collaboration with Scopus and other notable publication partners, enhancing the university & academic outreach and engagement. Dr. Mamodiya also serves as a guest editor for the International Journal of Electrical and Electronics Research (IJEER), a Scopus-indexed journal, where he contributes to the dissemination of cutting-edge research. His dedication to teaching and research has been recognized through numerous awards, including the prestigious Dr. Radhakrishnan Award for outstanding excellence in teaching and research, presented on Teacher’s Day in 2020. He also received the Global Outreach Education Award (GOREA) in 2019 for Excellence in Electrical Engineering & and the Asian Excellence Award (AEA) for & Outstanding Individual Achievements and Distinguished Services to the National 2018, Dr. Mamodiya was honored with the Global Education & Corporate Leadership Award (GECL) for & Best Academician at MIET, Meerut. Through his unwavering commitment to education and research, Dr. Udit Mamodiya continues to inspire students and colleagues alike, making a significant impact on the academic and technological landscape in India.
Akhtar Kalam is the Academic Director of Texila College Australia, Melbourne, and an Emeritus Professor at Victoria University, where he has been since 1984. He has held leadership roles, including deputy dean, head of engineering, and head of external engagement at VU. He chairs the Academic Board of Texila College and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Australian Journal of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. With distinguished professorships across multiple universities globally, Professor Kalam has extensive experience in academia and industry. He holds a B.Sc. and B.Sc. Engineering from Calcutta University and Aligarh Muslim University, and MS and Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Bath. His research interests include power systems, renewable energy, smart grids, and IEC61850 implementation. Professor Kalam has over 600 publications and 29 books, with more than 49 PhD graduates under his supervision. He has been awarded the John Madsen Medal multiple times and the ACPE-CIGRE Outstanding Academic Award. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Victoria and a Fellow of multiple engineering societies.
Badre Bossoufi is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Faculty of Sciences, Fez, Morocco. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering (2012) with a focus on “Electrical & Power Electronics,” from the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah (Morocco), in collaboration with the University of Pitesti (Romania) and the University of Liege (Belgium). His research on “Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines using FPGA Digital Solutions” was supervised by Professors Mohammed Karim and Silviu Ionita. He earned his HDR (Habilitation to Direct Research) in 2016. Bossoufi has also completed specialized training in designing, developing, and managing online science courses through the AUF (Agency Universities Francophone). His academic background includes a Specialized Masters in Automated Industrial Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Physics.
M. M. Awad , Ph.D., is a Professor at Mansoura University, Egypt, in the Mechanical Power Engineering Department. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland (2007), focusing on Two-Phase Flow Modeling in Circular Pipes, with research supported by NSERC, AIF, and Petro-Canada Inc. He also holds an M.Sc. and B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Mansoura University. Dr. Awad's research interests include two-phase flow in porous media, heat transfer in wavy fins, and liquid-liquid two-phase flow. He has held academic positions at Mansoura University since 2000, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Additionally, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Memorial University (2007-2009) and represented Mansoura University in a research collaboration with MIT and other Egyptian universities.
Devendra Kumar Somwanshi is an experienced academic leader with over 17 years of professional expertise. He currently serves as the Registrar at Poornima College of Engineering, Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he played a key role in achieving the NAAC A+ accreditation and Autonomous status in 2024. Dr. Somwanshi has extensive experience in IQAC, NAAC, and NBA processes, ensuring rigorous compliance and driving institutional excellence. He has also contributed significantly to research and development initiatives as the M. Tech. Coordinator in the R&D Department. A Thapar University alumnus, he possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, making him an invaluable asset to educational institutions.
