Ngoc-Tung Vu
is currently a PhD Candidate while concurrently holding a position as a lecturer at University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University in Hanoi, Vietnam. Within the realm of intercultural communication in TESOL and Language Education, he has recently emerged as a prominent figure in Vietnam. His involvement in various capacities includes serving as the Review Co-Director of the VietTESOL International Convention for 2020-2021 and taking on the role of Proceedings Editor-in-Chief for the 2022 and 2023 conventions. Additionally, he has managed projects, notably the Vietnam Community of Practice, where he led a team of 10 individuals and served as the editor-in-chief of a book released in collaboration with Eliva in 2022. His contributions have been acknowledged through awards such as the SUNY Albany Best Teaching Award in 2020 and Research Award in 2021, recognition as a research figure by Vietnam National University for four consecutive years (2021-2024), acknowledgment by the University of Languages and International Studies in 2023 and 2024, and recognition by the Department of English in both 2020 and 2022. In terms of research outputs, he has edited one book and authored over 35 works, comprising high-quality journal articles, book chapters, newsletters, and media reports. His research focus centers on intercultural communication, incorporating diverse perspectives from school leaders, teachers, educators, employers, and learners.
Hanh Dinh
earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the State University of New York at Albany. She is now a lecturer at the Department of Arts, Humanities, and Communication and the Associate Director of Vermont State University Multilingual Students Services (. She is a regular reviewer for journals such as System, Intercultural Pragmatics, Languages, etc., and has been published in several journals in the field of linguistics and education, such as Pragmatics and Cognition, Journal of Multicultural Education, Languages, Journal of Intercultural Communication Research, etc. She also published several book chapters about English education and Content and Language Integrated Language Learning with IGI, Routledge, and Springer. Her research interests include bilingual education, multilingualism multiculturalism, curriculum designs for English language learners, and technological integration into English learning. Her dissertation on bilingual students' word choices behavior and academic writing was selected for the Karen R. Hitchcock New Frontiers Fund Awards and the Presidential Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award for the 2023-24 academic year.
Dr. Hang Thi Thu Nguyen is a lecturer in TESOL at the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (Vietnam), and an Academic Associate at the University of East Anglia (UK). She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Pennsylvania State University in 2022-2023, where she researched TESOL for Social Justice. With over 15 years of experience, she has developed and delivered diverse courses in Vietnam and the UK, focusing on international education, intercultural communication, bilingual education, and teacher professional development. Dr. Nguyen has established a strong track record of research, with her work published in top-tier academic journals such as Teaching and Teacher Education, Journal of Education for Teaching, Language & Education, and Language Teaching, as well as in high-ranked peer-reviewed journals in Vietnam. She has also served as a visiting lecturer in the UK and Australia, combining her academic expertise with active community engagement, making significant contributions to education and teacher training.
Prof. Huu Thanh Minh Nguyen is currently a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics at School of Languages and Linguistics, Faculty of Arts, The University of Melbourne, where they have been granted the Graduate Research Scholarship to pursue my PhD. They are also working as a lecturer of English at Faculty of English, University of Foreign Language Studies, The University of Danang. They earned their Master's degree in TESOL Studies at School of Education, The University of Leeds, where they were the only recipient of the International Excellence Scholarship to pursue the Master's program in TESOL Studies. Throughout the course of their career, they have been acknowledged as a prominent researcher by The University of Dang for academic year 2023-2024. They have published widely in various journals: International Review of Applied Linguistics in Language Teaching, Journal of Language, Identity & Education, Teaching English as a Second Language Electronic Journal (TESL-EJ). Their research interests include Language Testing, Language Assessment, Second Language Writing, and Task-based Language Teaching and Learning.
