Editor/Author Biographies
Anastasia Paraskou, DBA, is the founder of CROSSBEES™, an agency providing cross-border reproductive care services both to clinics and to those seeking infertility treatment abroad. She has accompanied many couples on their infertility journey, supported clinics in establishing foreign patient divisions, and has held posts as Chief of International Patient Offices and Quality Manager. Anastasia’s interests encompass the areas of Genetics, Fertility Preservation, Stem Cell Research and Oncofertility. Her academic experience includes teaching Business Strategy, Marketing, International Operations and Intercultural Management, and she holds a degree of postgraduate studies in Tourism Management and a Doctorate in Management. She has lived and worked in several European countries, is fluent in five languages, and currently lives in Germany with her husband and son.
Babu P. George, PhD, DBA, has more than fifteen years of business research experience focused on international tourism management. He has started taking research and consulting interest in medical tourism since early 2000’s. One of his specific expertise is in synergizing telemedicine with medical tourism. Currently, he is associate professor of management and coordinator of international programs at Fort Hays State University, USA. In the recent past, he served as professor of business research methods at Swiss Management Center University. In addition, he is a visiting professor at various higher education institutions around the world. He is the director of Center for Health Tourism, a nonprofit thinktank investigating health tourism futures. He has numerous peer reviewed and highly cited research publications in tourism and hospitality areas to his credit. He has authored or edited more than seven scholarly books. He is the editor of International Journal of Qualitative Research in Services and the book series Replicability in Social Sciences.
