Editor/Author Biographies

Nitza Davidovitch serves in teaching and administrative positions at the Ariel University. She is currently the Head of Quality Assessment and Academic Instruction in Ariel University and the Head of the Israeli Consortium of Faculty Development Centers. She is the head of teacher training program, education department. Her areas of research interest include academic curriculum development, development of academic instruction, Holocaust awareness and Jewish identity, student exchange programs with Germany and Poland, preservation of the heritage of Jewish sects, and moral education.

Ronen Cohen is a Senior-Lecturer and the Chairman of the Department of Middle Eastern and Political Science Studies, and the Chair of the Middle East & Central Asia Research Center (MECARC) at Ariel University in Israel. Dr. Cohen is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal for Interdisciplinary Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Cohen mainly focuses in his research on Iranian Studies and regional politics. He published several monographs and edited books among numerous academic articles among commentary articles and has occasionally been interviewed on radio shows and in newspapers.

Eyal Lewin is Chair of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies at Ariel University. He is a research fellow at the Kinneret Center on Peace, Security and Society. He is also the director of the annual longitudinal survey of national resilience, conducted by the Center for National Security Studies at the University of Haifa. Additionally, he serves as the secretary of the Association of Civil-Military Studies in Israel. Lewin is the author of academic papers and books focusing on general socio-political phenomena such as patriotism, national resilience, and national ethos.
