Description & Coverage
Description:

Evolutionary Culturology is the science of Cultural Evolution. In the light of two new discoveries (the unit of culture, and the unit of narrative), this book presents a new scientific paradigm for Cultural Evolution, and explains the key principles and protocols of the new Science of Evolutionary Culturology, including the meme, the unit of culture–and how and why this recent discovery of the HOLON/parton structure of the meme applies to creativity in all units of culture, be they: letters, words, books, languages, movies, songs, games, inventions–in short, any idea, process, or product.

This book provides scientific protocols (as a guide, handbook, manual) for the emergent scientific field of Cultural Evolution (here termed: Evolutionary Culturology). This includes Evolutionary Psychology, Evolutionary Sociology, and Evolutionary Anthropology - thus, `Evolutionary Culturology'.

The Value of the book is considerable; considering all the widely known past theories that contribute to this new paradigm. This new view affects all disciplines and domains; all of culture. It also impacts Bio-Informatics and Cognitive Informatics (thus also, Artificial Intelligence). The Theme of the book will have a big impact on the emergent science of Cultural Evolution and 'Mematics'.

This book attracts a wide readership, as it has instructional use at every level in Communication Studies (and Communication Science), Information Science, Systems Science, Cybernetics, and Cultural Evolution. The book has applications in: Cultural Evolution, Anthropology, Sociology (including: Communication Science), Psychology, Biology, Bio-Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Systems Science, and Information Science. Also, the scientific study of Media, the Arts, Entertainment, and in scientific studies of Creativity.
