Editor/Author Biographies
Chetna Singhal works as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. She has completed her Ph.D from IIT Delhi in May, 2015 and has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi till October 2015. She received her M.Tech. in Computer Technology from Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Delhi in 2010 and B.Eng. in Electronics and Telecommunications from University of Pune in 2008. She worked in IBM Software Lab, New Delhi, as a Software Engineer, from June 2010 to July 2011. Her research interests are in heterogeneous wireless networks, multimedia transmissions, resource allocation, and wireless handovers.
Swades De received his PhD in Electrical Eng. from the State Univ. of New York at Buffalo in 2004. He is currently an associate professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi. His research interests are broadly in communication networks, with emphasis on performance modeling and analysis. Current directions include energy harvesting communication networks, broadband wireless access and routing, cognitive/white-space access networks, and smart grid networks. Dr. De currently serves as a senior editor of IEEE Communications Letters and an associate editor respectively of Springer Photonic Network Communications journal and IETE Technical Review journal. He is a senior member of IEEE, IEEE Communications and Computer Societies, USA, and a member of IEICE, Japan.
