Editor/Author Biographies
She held a PhD in Management in University of Évora – Portugal. Professor of Management on Department of Economics and Management, Institute Polytecnic of Setubal– Portugal. Guest professor in international universities teaches in courses of master and PhDs programs. Researcher at CEFAGE (Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics) University of Evora – Portugal. Author of several publications in national and international journals, books and book chapters.
Maria de Lurdes Calisto is an assistant professor at Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (Portugal) where she is member of the executive committee of the Master in Hotel Management and belongs to the coordination team of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Business Development. She holds a PhD in management awarded by the University of Évora. Leads a research group on Entrepreneurship in Tourism, is member of CiTUR – Centre for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation, and a research collaborator at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics - University of Évora. The current research interests include innovation in services, strategic entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, human capital and strategic human resources management, and hospitality management.
Nuno Silva Gustavo is Assistant Professor at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (ESHTE). He lectures in the fields of business tourism and hospiltaity management, as well as in events management. In ESHTE he is head of management department and board member of the Master in Tourism and Hotel Management. In its resume stands out the collaboration with international and national educational institutions, as the Grenoble Graduate School of Business, the Eduardo Mondlane University - ESHTI, the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Cape Verde and the University of Coimbra. He holds a Phd in Tourism, Leisure and Culture at the University of Coimbra a Master degree in Leisure and Local Development (University of Coimbra) and Bachelor in Tourism Operation Management. Nuno Gustavo is active researcher in tourism & hospitality business management. He is also tutor in Master and Phd thesis projects. As researcher already developed projects in tourism & hospitality in Portugal, Cape Verde and Mozambique.
