Houssem Chemingui , Ph.D., is a dedicated academic researcher and educator specializing in Information Systems. With a keen interest in Business Process Management, Requirements Engineering, and Software Product Lines, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching and research endeavors. Houssem obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne in 2021, following a Research Master in Computer Science from Manar University, Tunisia, in 2014, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Applied to Business Management from Carthage University, Tunisia, in 2012. His teaching interests span Process and Data Mining, Management of Information Systems, Data Analysis, and Web Development. Houssem's courses, at both the Master and Bachelor levels, cover a range of topics including Information Systems Management, Software Engineering, Web Development, Database Management, and Programming Languages such as Python. With a commitment to excellence in both research and education, Houssem is dedicated to shaping the next generation of IT professionals.
Munir Ahmad is a seasoned professional in the realm of Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI), Geo-Information Productions, Information Systems, and Information Governance, boasting over 25 years of dedicated experience in the field. With a PhD in Computer Science, Dr. Ahmad's expertise spans Spatial Data Production, Management, Processing, Analysis, Visualization, and Quality Control. Throughout his career, Dr. Ahmad has been deeply involved in the development and deployment of SDI systems specially in the context of Pakistan, leveraging his proficiency in Spatial Database Design, Web, Mobile & Desktop GIS, and Geo Web Services Architecture. His contributions to Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) and Open Source Geoportal & Metadata Portal have significantly enriched the geospatial community. As a trainer and researcher, Dr. Ahmad has authored over 50 publications, advancing the industry's knowledge base and fostering innovation in Geo-Tech, Data Governance, and Information Infrastructure, and Emerging Technologies. His commitment to Research and Development (R&D) is evident in his role as a dedicated educator and mentor in the field.
