Advancements in Behavioral AI: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract

As artificial intelligence (AI) evolves, a new discipline known as Behavioral AI has emerged, combining AI with the study of human behavior. Using bibliometric analysis, the authors identify four distinct clusters within Behavioral AI, each concentrating on a different subject. Cluster 1 focuses on cognitive processes and decision-making, whereas Cluster 2 investigates technological acceptability and adoption. Cluster 3 focuses on mental health and treatment solutions, whereas Cluster 4 addresses social consequences and technology obstacles. By investigating these clusters, the authors present an overview of the current status of behavioral AI research and recommend directions for future research. The findings of the study demonstrate the broad spectrum of research within Behavioral AI, highlighting its capacity to enhance the understanding of human behavior and its implications for various sectors of society.
