Inquiry And Dialogue In Online Pedagogy

MOOCs through the essences of openness become educational initiative from the result of analysis on constructivism to normative philosophical backgrounds that social technical system embraces change of technical matters, roles and relations with the question of pedagogical potentials and organizational levels. In fact, we strongly support that autonomy and independence are essential to pedagogies, technologies and organizational strategies which equality in both learning and teaching process become matter behind the reality of social constructivist of technology and social qualities (Ossiannilsson, Altinay, Altinay, 2016; Arnavut & Bicen, 2018). Conferencing system is highlighted as an example as providing efficiency and anonymity, capacity for openness with its unique structure of messaging, group management user profiling. This point of view within the book needs to be expanded how conferencing system provides social qualities and also nature of learning including active dialogue and participation. However, higher education institutions have potential focus to consider that distance education practices as part of industrialization and they need to look for standardization, quality assurance, cost effectiveness and profitability where online pedagogy requires active participation and social mediation with dialogue.
