Chapter examines urgent need to address cyber threats by reassessing conventional security techniques & arguing in favor of a large degree of automation & incorporation of AI & ML. Though it acknowledges associated issues, AI highlights cybersecurity defences by strengthening them, despite worries about potential misuse by criminals. While technologies have made jobs more automated, they have exposed systems to flaws. AI's widespread use has made attacks worse, which has led to revaluation of traditional & modern defences. It emphasizes AI's role in cybersecurity by showcasing its capacity to manage enormous datasets, adapt in real-time, & quickly detect risks. It highlights the significance of AI globally for network security, especially in light of the growing danger of cyberattacks. It examines AI's possible advantages/difficulties in security, addressing changing nature of threats, & security training that is influenced by AI & suggests countermeasures. It emphasizes the necessity of continuous research & assessments to fully utilize AI's potential & create a robust environment.
