Abstract

In virtually every aspect of our lives, we deal with knowledge. From the moment of birth, we are a sieve through which data is constantly feeding and knowledge is created. We are told that “knowledge is power” and the gateway to prosperity (Allee, 2002; Burke, 1999; Leonard, 1998). Since antiquity, people with inquisitive minds have attempted to define, classify, and measure this illusive notion of knowledge. It is definitely not an easy task.
